A BUCKINGHAMSHIRE mobile library has scooped a top national award.

The newest of the county council's library fleet, which powers itself with solar panels in the roof, was handed the delegates prize at the annual Mobilemeet in Suffolk.

The Buckinghamshire Mobile is set up to serve rural communities, and features an awning and lighting and sound systems to enable promotional activities, and was designed specifically for BCC.

It is the first time since1993 the council has won the award.

Defacto this is an award for closing libraries down in the County and replacing them with a mobile library.

Next thing Bucks County Council will get an award for only losing £5 million in the Icelandic banks debacle.

i think there are 5 million reasons to kick out the Conservatives who run Bucks County Council.
