A LAWNMOWER and a shredder were stolen as thieves targeted a number of domestic garages in Penn and Loudwater last week.

Two garages were broken into on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 2, one in Meadow Walk, Penn and another in Altona Road, Loudwater. A Honda lawnmower and a Bosch shredder were stolen.

Between 10pm on February 1 and 9am on February 2 entry was gained to a garage in Court Lawns, Penn, by forcing the door. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

Two premises were attacked in Old Forge Road, Loudwater, between 6pm on February 1 and 9am on February 2. Doors were forced, but nothing was stolen from either property.

At about midnight on February 2 offenders were disturbed attempting to gain entry to a domestic garage in Birfield Road, Loudwater, by forcing the door. No entry was gained and the offenders made off. Description and numbers of offenders are not known.

The following crimes were also reported in south Buckinghamshire:

Between midnight and 7am on February 2, offenders gained entry to a black coloured Audi vehicle while parked in The Common, Penn. A thorough search was made of the vehicle and cash and a drivers licence stolen from a wallet.

Between 1pm and 7:15pm on February 2, offenders gained entry to a premise in Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, by smashing a rear ground floor window. A tidy search was made and property including a Toshiba 32" television and a Dell laptop computer were stolen.

Between 9.30pm on February 2 and 7.30am on February 3, offenders gained entry to a white coloured Skoda vehicle while parked in Hithercroft Road, Downley, by forcing the driver's door. A search was made of the vehicle but nothing stolen, although damage was caused to the interior, ignition system and steering column.

Between 8.30pm on February 3 and 7.30am on February 4, offenders gained entry to a silver Mercedes vehicle while parked in Marlow Road, Little Marlow, by smashing the front passenger window. A search was made of the vehicle but nothing appears to have been stolen.

Between 7pm on February 2nd and 7.30am on February 3, offenders gained entry to a blue Mitsubishi vehicle while parked in Hughenden Road, High Wycombe, by damaging the driver's door lock. A hammer head drill and saw were stolen from the vehicle.

Between 6.30pm on January 28 and 8.30am on January 29, offenders stole the front and rear registration plates from a white Vauxhall vehicle, while parked in Shelley Road, Marlow.

Between midnight and 12.30pm on January 30, offenders gained entry to a green coloured Volkswagen Passat vehicle, while parked in Princes Gate, High Wycombe, by smashing the offside window. A search was made of the vehicle and a Kenwood Radio stolen.

Between 9am on January 29 and 9am on January 30, offenders gained entry to a garden shed in Waborne Road, Bourne End, by forcing the padlock, and stole a green coloured pillar drill and stand.

Between 5pm and 10pm on January 30, offenders gained entry to two premises in Hughenden Avenue, High Wycombe, by smashing the rear patio door at one and a rear window at the other. An untidy search was made of both premises and property stolen.

Between 4:15pm on January 29 and 12.20pm on January 30, offenders used a spade to smash a rear window at a premise in Brookfield Road, Wooburn Green. An extensive search was made of the premises and a number of electrical items including laptop computers, games consoles and games were stolen. Some property relating to this burglary was later found abandoned in the Slough area.

Between 5pm on January 28 and 11am on January 29, offenders gained entry to a black Vauxhall vehicle, while parked in Freer Crescent, High Wycombe, by smashing the rear offside window and winding down the main window. Two chrome coloured Nokia mobile phones, fully boxed with charger were stolen from the vehicle.
