FIVE arrests were made by Immigration officials this morning following a raid on a High Wycombe business.
Officers from the UK Border Agency swooped on the Blowplast Ltd factory in Hillbottom Road following intelligence suggesting a number of people were working there illegally.
Four of the men arrested were discovered to be illegal immigrants. The other had stayed in Britain following the expiry of a visa.
A sixth person was removed from the premises but not arrested as they have an outstanding Home Office application to be dealt with.
Alex Legg, chief immigration officer for the Agency, said two of those arrested were from India and the other three were from Sri Lanka. They range in age from 26 to 53.
He said they could be deported within a matter of days.
Mr Legg added the home addresses of the five people arrested were due to be searched in a bid to find documents which would quicken any deportations.
He said Blowplast Ltd, a plastics moulding firm, could now be served with a notification of liability for employing people not legally entitled to work in the UK.
Blowplast Ltd refused to comment.
