WHAT has happened to the dog owners of late I wonder? It seems that the snow falls we have had recently affected some owners’ minds, and has led them to believe that due to deep snow they were not responsible for clearing up their pets’ mess, or thought perhaps the snow would cover it over for them? The snow has moved on for the most part and yet as I walk about my local Downley area doing school and pre-school walks, I am increasingly annoyed at the amount of mess on the pavements that I am having to dodge.
It is not limited to pavements however.
The woods backing Downley are full of it and are regularly visited by the local preschools for nature walks. There are plenty of bins provided so what is the problem?
It may not be the nicest job in the world but as the owner of the animal you are supposed to be clearing it up and not leaving it for a toddlers welly, scooter or pushchair wheel! PICK IT UP PEOPLE!
