A GERRARDS Cross pub that closed in 2007 is set to be bulldozed to make way for a care home.
Developers Runwood Homes has won planning permssion to demolish the former French Horn pub on Oxford Road and build a 53-bed residential care home.
Some locals have called the care home's design “dull” while others say it will be too close to the A40.
But parish and district councillor Jennifer Woolveridge has said: “I would welcome a care home of this nature into Gerrards Cross and I am interested to see how it will fit into the village.”
