A HIGH Wycombe householder disturbed a burglar who stole jewellery.

The occupant of the Curzon Avenue home found the male climbing in through a first floor window on Sunday at about 7pm.

Police said: β€œOn being disturbed the offender made off via the point of entry, together with a quantity of jewellery they had stolen from the premises.”

He is described as a white male, aged 20 to 24, about 5ft5ins, thin with a long thin face, and pointed features, high cheek bones and sunken cheeks.

He was clean shaven and had dark brown stuck up hair. He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

The following crimes have been reported by Thames Valley Police:

Between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on Thursday 11th, offenders smashed the rear offside window of a grey coloured Skoda Octavia vehicle, while parked in the car park of Flackwell Heath Football Club, Magpie Lane, Flackwell Heath. It is believed the offenders may have been disturbed, although not seen, as nothing appears to have been stolen from the vehicle.

Between midnight and 4:00am on Wednesday 10th, offenders gained entry to a domestic garage in Pine Walk, Hazlemere, by unknown means. Nothing was stolen although a leaf blower was plugged into the electricity supply and left by the garage door by the offender.

Between 3:30pm and 5:00pm on Tuesday 9th, offenders gained entry to a Church, in Plomer Hill, Downley, by forcing a fire door. Nothing was stolen from the premises although damage was caused to a kitchen area.

Between 5:00pm on Monday 8th and 8:00am on Tuesday 9th, offenders stole a quantity of Lead from a premise in The Pentlands, High Wycombe.
