TWO arrests have been made by police investigating a spate of car crimes in Chesham and London.

Both of the people arrested are males in their late thirties. One of them was arrested at an address in Chesham.

They are currently in custody at Aylesbury police station on suspicion of conspiracy to handle stolen motor vehicles and conspiracy to defraud.

The arrests were made as a result of warrants carried out in a joint operation between the Metropolitan Police Service and Thames Valley Police.

Chesham's Neighbourhood policing team are currently patrolling the area to offer information and reassurance to residents.
