FILM crews have taken over the Hughenden Manor estate as they record scenes for ITV detective drama Miss Marple.
The show is filming at St Michael and All Angels Church and the manor house for the latest episode called The Pale Horse.
The episode, which features Julia McKenzie as the spinster detective, is about Miss Marple's investigation into the brutal murder of Father Gorman.
Adapted from the novel by Agatha Christie the story follows her to The Pale Horse Inn, where she discovers the pub is at heart of something sinister.
Parish clerk and verger Arthur Johnson said: “The principal thing is they wanted to film at the National Trust.
“It is nice to have property like this used for this kind of thing.”
