A FAIR in Thame which is becoming a major fixture in the miniatures show calender has raised thousands of pounds for charity.

The Thame Dolls House and Miniatures Fair was held in the Thame Leisure Centre with 45 artisans exhibiting their work and selling miniature items.

It has so far raised £3204 for Breast Cancer Campaign with a further £154.53 from a street collection in Thame.

Organiser Celia Thomas who owns KT Miniatures said: “It was a brilliant day. The money is still coming in.

“We had 45 artisans- some of which are the best in the UK.”

She donated 50 per cent of the total profits from running the event to Breast Cancer Campaign.

One of the exhibitors Robert Longstaff from Longstaff Workshops in Longworth said: “The show is growing over the last few years.

“We have done a lot of shows but it is the only regional show we now do. It has a wonderful exhibition and is a major fixture in the show list.”
