RE: Criticism of Buckinghamshire County Council over potholes on the roads.
I COMMEND the letters from Kate Phillips and Philip Robinson (February 19). Both are totally accurate in their comments.
I travel all over the UK and the condition of South Bucks roads are amongst the worst in the country. Anyone from BCC who suggests the roads are well maintained should resign their position as they are out of touch with reality. We live off the A404 in the direction of Penn Bottom and that road alone has some 30 potholes needing attention most of which are previous repairs.
That’s false economy. The council should get back to resurfacing roads as we once knew.
