Witnesses sought after attempted burglary
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to help them investigate an attempted burglary in High Wycombe yesterday.
Would-be burglars were disturbed by residents after they broke into a property on White Close, Downley through the back door at 9.15pm.
They then escaped towards Plomer Hill, Downley.
Witnesses or anyone who saw anyone in the area at the time acting suspiciously are asked to contact PC Stephen Lewis at High Wycombe police station on 0845 8 505 505 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
