A MAN was arrested following a stabbing in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe today.

The man was arrested on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm with intent following the incident.

Police were called at 4.15pm after a 30-year-old man was stabbed.

He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Witnesses report seeing a man on the ground being treated by paramedics, who arrived at the scene at about 4.35pm.

The ambulance is understood to have stayed for about 15 minutes before leaving.

Police were this afternoon making door-to-door enquiries.

Dashwood Avenue was cordoned off between the junctions with Lindsay Avenue and Oakridge Road.
