ASHLEY Davis, aged 13, defeated David Galavan 6-2, 6-7, 6-2 in the men's singles final of Whitton Tennis Club's finals day.
He also beat Max Smith 7-6, 6-4 in a repeat of last year's under 16 singles final.
Max, 14, gained consolation by partnering last year's singles winner Matthew Brown in a 6-2, 6-0 triumph over Bob Owen and Alex Walter in the men's doubles final. He and Oliver Newlan, 14, then prevented Davis gaining a hat-trick by beating him and Peter Timbs, 14, in the under 16 doubles final 6-2, 6-4.
