Scary Spice, part of Marlow's ever expanding glitterati, was joined by friends Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher's wife Meg Matthews for an afternoon drink in Marlow on Sunday.

Scary of the Manor House, Little Marlow, was accompanied by husband Jimmy Gulzar and their baby Phoenix-Chi.

They joined drinkers at the The George and Dragon and The Hogshead who were basking in the Bank Holiday weekend weather.

Ian Richardson, deputy manager of the George and Dragon, The Causeway, said Scary Spice, her husband and baby came in with Meg Matthews and Kate Moss.

He added: "They had a couple of drinks and sat on the green. They had been around the whole of the town enjoying the weather and were seen in another pub and at a restaurant.

"We tend to get a lot of celebrities in here. "

Miss Moss recently moved into a luxurious property in School Lane, Medmenham.

Colin Whiley, manager of the Hogshead pub, High Street, said: "Scary Spice came in here with her baby and husband. They were also with two good looking friends.

"They sat outside, enjoyed the sunshine and had a complete Sunday roast. They often come in here."

Hilary Gavin, of High Wycombe, said she spotted the famous couple with their baby as they walked along the pathway by the River Thames.

"I was having a picnic when they wandered by," she said. "They looked relaxed and happy, as if they didn't have a care in the world."
