OLYMPIC swimmer Sharron Davies had a relaxing time this week at the official opening of Wycombe's new £475,000 health and fitness suite, Lifestyles. The blonde, now retired from swimming, sat coyly in a whirlpool bath as anxious photographers lined up to take that all-important picture. Sharron was joined by civic dignitaries at the opening of the health and fitness suite, which has been built below Wycombe Sports Centre. The suite includes a fully equipped fitness room with treadmills and cycles, four sunbeds, saunas, steamrooms, whirlpool baths and comfortable loungers. There is also a sport injuries clinic available by appointment. More than 2,500 visits have been made to the suite since it was opened to the public last month. The assistant leisure officer told the Free Press "The suite is going incredibly well.

"It is cheap to use and the public like the fact that there is no membership fee."
