Dropping bands should be banned
THIS morning, whilst waiting for a lift on the London Road, I watched a postwoman drop rubber bands on the pavement.
It probably seems a trivial thing but everyone I have spoken to has said that they too have noticed the same thing happening in their area.
Over a period of time, this adds up to an awful lot of rubber bands, and quite apart from that, it looks messy and is not a good example to set, especially to children.
Surely if they put them all in a bag, they would save money as they could be reused.
