FUN-LOVING Mike Kennedy has promised to pose for a picture wearing a pair of Wallace and Gromit pants outside his trousers to raise money for Comic Relief.

Sainsbury's has also entered the spirit of Comic Relief by giving a donation for every special red nose product bought by customers. Sainsbury's hope to raise the biggest single donation ever given to charity by Comic Relief Day on March 12.

Ian Tasker, Sainsbury's High Wycombe store manager, said: "We have had various fundraising events such as a painting competition for kids and a bonus ball lottery."

Pupils at Highworth County Combined School, High Wycombe, will take part in a variety of fund-raising events for Comic Relief including wearing their jackets back to front, playing sports against their teachers and taking part in a red nose race.

Ruth Goddard, deputy head, said: "It's all about raising money and we want all our children to take part no matter how much money they can give."
