CHEF Simon Bradford lost a more than a stone in weight after he volunteered for free liposuction advertised by a men's magazine on the Internet.

Plastic surgeons at the London Stamford Hospital's Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery sucked three litres of liquified fat out of Mr Bradford's stomach in the operation on January 4 .

The 29-year-old, of Whitelands Road, High Wycombe, who has to wear a corset to help his stomach heal, said he volunteered to go under the knife for a laugh.

His free ultrasonic liposuction operation, which would have cost him £3,000, was done on condition he appeared in the March issue of men's magazine FHM to give his verdict.

Mr Bradford said: "It is still a bit sore and uncomfortable -- I can't sit down for too long before it starts getting painful so I have to stand up every hour.

"I'm glad I have done it, but I don't think that I would do it again. My fiancee Natalie regrets it because she says I'm not as cuddly as before.

"I did try dieting but I like my food and that was my downfall."

Trained chef Mr Bradford, who now works as an IT business analyst in London, said he is becoming addicted to plastic surgery.

He has already had laser surgery to permanently correct his short-sightedness.

Mr Bradford, who is planning his wedding for September, said: "I don't know yet what will be next, but maybe it will be a hair transplant."
