CHESHAM and Amersham MP Cheryl Gillan took time from her parliamentary duties to congratulate training organisation TACK on its 50th anniversary.

Mrs Gillan gave her address last Thursday at TACK Training International's worldwide conference at its headquarters at Latimer Park, Chesham.

She said she recognised TACK as a successful business and told delegates training, education and development were key to the success of companies worldwide, and working as a team was the most important aspect of potential success.

TACK was founded in 1948 by brothers Alfred and George Tack to provide modern sales training. It now offers courses in more than 40 countries in more than 20 languages in a wide range of disciplines, including sales development and management, finance, and marketing.

Eric Pillinger, managing director of TACK Training International, said the company was especially proud of the milestone reached, adding: "Our task now is training people to look ahead to the challenge of communicating in a global environment."

"So our focus now is on Europe and the world for the millennium and beyond."
