FLACKWELL Heath have appointed former Marlow boss Neil Dickens and player David Lay as their joint managers following the resignation of Martyn Busby.

Busby, who had a nightmare sequence of results during his short time at the helm, quit the Ryman third division club because of work committments.

Dickens' appointment completes a bizarre managerial merry-go-round. He was Marlow's manager 18 months ago. His old club are now bossed by Graham Pritchard, who began last season managing Flackwell.

Dickens and Lay are now preparing for the pre-season programme.

All Heath's friendlies are at home. They kick off against Beaconsfield on Saturday, July 25 followed by visits from Vantissart Wanderers on Thursday July 30, Windsor on August 1, Chalfont, August 4, Yeading August 8 and Reading Exiles on August 15.

Tring West End underlined their championship credentials in the Cressex Astroturf Six-a-Side Summer League after inflicting Wycombe Town's first defeat. Goals from Neil Jolly and Malcolm McConnell secured a 2-0 win.

Jayfield Allblacks slipped out of the top eight despite taking four points from their two matches. Jeffery Fieldon got their only goal of the night as they beat Chalfont 87.

Wycombe Hermits kept their title hopes alive with two wins and a draw. Russell Page gave them a 1-0 win over Checkline Reserves. A 2-0 win over Parklife followed before Wooburn held them to a goalless draw.

Hithercroft hammered Half Moon Reserves 4-1 but Moon had some consolation when their goalkeeper Daniel Peddley scored.
