CONTINUOUS downpours failed to put a dampner on a testimonial six-a-side clash for Middlesex player Keith Brown.
Wicket-keeper Brown collected £3,500 from the tournament at Gerrards Cross Cricket Club on Monday.
The player was joined by his Middlesex team-mates, among them Richard Johnson, for the eight-team tournament.
The event was eventually won by a joint BP Collins and Scottish Airports team, but play went on until 9.15pm before it was decided.
