Beaconsfield fire station is likely to become the home of a dedicated anti-terrorist equipment lorry when the crew move into their new fire station.
The current station in Mayflower Way is earmarked for closure and fire bosses are looking at building a new station near junction two of the M40.
Fire chiefs believe a lorry based there could be on the motorway network to incidents anywhere in the country very quickly.
It would carry specialist decontamination equipment.
