THE FESTIVAL PROGRAMME has now been delivered to homes across the town. Another huge range of activities are on offer covering a wide choice of sports, recreation and arts events. The week kicks off with a street parade on Saturday, July 2, passing through the town and onto the King George V playing field from 2pm. A fun afternoon follows. In the evening there's "Swing in the Park" which is a big band evening celebrating the end of the Second World War, from 7.30pm.
