A REMINDER that the Home of Rest for Horses in Slad Lane, Lacey Green is worthwhile visiting with the children in the holidays.
They love reading the horses' names on the stable doors, learning their ages, descriptions, measurements in hands and sometimes their history, and feeding them, where allowed.
The home relies on donations. It is easy to forget that having enjoyed the horses. There is a place for donations and they are very much appreciated to help with the feeding and caring that goes on every day.
The home is open every afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
