JUST A REMINDER to try to get to the Art Exhibition in the village hall, tomorrow or Sunday between 11am and 5pm.

All the work is by local artists, some professional and others recreational artists. You might wish to buy a picture, or just enjoy the wealth of local talent on display.

ANYONE BETWEEN the ages of eight and 12 years can join in this week, free of charge, the sports sessions at the Sports Club. Phone 01494 421871 and speak to Dean to book your place.

Tuesday there's tag rugby, Wednesday is cricket, Thursday it's football, all between 10am and 2pm. Remember to take your own lunch.

FOR £5 A DAY the five to ten year old children can enjoy a range of activities including crafts, games, drama, music, cooking and sports at the Youth and Community Centre on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the next three weeks.

All activities will be properly supervised. Call in at the centre to make your booking. If the centre is closed post your application form though the letterbox at the gate.

PLEASE CONTACT Carol at the Day Centre if you are able to accommodate and provide tea this summer for about 15 people from the centre who love to visit gardens and sit under the shade of trees.
