THE MILITARY operation seems to be testing out emergency procedures in war time High Wycombe.
The shot, taken in 1939, shows people in gas masks and protective suits attending to volunteer victims.
Military men, in full dress uniform, seem to be overseeing matters and pointing out interesting parts of the action.
The teams couldn't be more protected from the outside world, they are dressed head to toe in rubber suits and breathing through tubes.
But the volunteer victims look like they are in capable hands when being stretchered off.
