COFFEE MORNING for Macmillan Cancer Relief takes place at the home of Drina Brokenbrow on Friday, September 30.
As well as the coffee there will be Phoenix cards on sale and also poems by Dorinda Smith. There's a raffle and any prizes for this would be very welcome. Call 01494 716981 if you would like to go.
The event takes place between 11am and 1pm.
THOSE OF YOU who have visited the Widmer End web site will know it has been out of date for some time.
When the site was originally created it contained a wealth of local information and was a good reference for those living in and visiting the village.
Hopefully a new webmaster will be recruited soon to re-vamp the site to become a useful resource once again.
The matter is due to be discussed by the Residents Association at their next meeting.
ANOTHER WAY to keep people informed about events is to tell me about them.
