INDIAN food lovers in Wycombe are set to feast as World Curry Week comes to the town.
Indian restaurants in the county will be signing up for this year's Kingfisher World Curry week. Restaurants in High Wycombe will be taking part in the event, running from October 16 to 22, to help raise money for the international charity Action Against Hunger.
Kingfisher World Curry Week organiser Peter Grove said: "Kingfisher World Curry Week lets us all celebrate the country's most popular meal and we don't have to feel guilty about having another poppadum, because it's all for charity."
Last year's participating restaurants helped to raise under £25,000 for Action against Hunger.
Curry eaters will also be asked to create an outfit or accessory fit for a Bollywood King or Queen. The winning design will be made into a finished product and will be modelled at the launch event which will take place in London on October 14.
