WYCOMBE Rye Ladies were in devastating form when they thrashed Windsor 5-0 on Saturday in Division 3A of the South league.
After a slow start, Rye Ladies were at the top of the game. They were 1-0 up at half time thanks to Charlotte Rees' strike but they went nap in the second half.
First, Charly Brydon scored from a short corner before Rees added her second. Jane Clarke then scored with a sharp finish and Shona Black rounded off the scoring.
The result puts Wycombe third.
In the Trysports League, Rye Ladies 2XI played top-of-the-table Maidenhead in a fiery game.
Wycombe led 1-0 at half time through Heidi Frick's strike but two second-half goals by Maidenhead saw them 2-1 winners.
In Division One, the 2As lost for the first time when they went down 6-1 at Bicester, Ellie Pike scoring Wycombe's consolation.
And a young 3XI drew 1-1 with Henley 4XI, Treena Partridge scoring Wycombe's goal.
In Premier One, Marlow enjoyed a 6-0 thrashing of Reading 2XI on Saturday.
First blood came courtesy of a Liz Clegg strike which whistled into the top right-hand corner.
Goals by Jenny Hopkins and Alex Clee made it 3-0 at half time.
Marlow maintained the pressure in the second half and were rewarded by a Rachel Smet penalty flick, Sophie Philp's strike from a penalty corner and Clee's second goal.
But Marlow 2XI suffered a 5-0 defeat at Wallingford while the 3XI drew with Banbury 0-0.
Meanwhile, Amersham & Chalfont beat South Bucks 2-1 to remain unbeaten in Premier A.
In a well-contested local derby, A&C took the lead when Erin Ruxton set up Sarah Cartledge for the goal.
South Bucks came back after forcing a series of penalty corners, with Helen Southerden striking the equaliser with a short corner strike.
A&C improved after the break and put the South Bucks defence under sustained pressure.
Annie Brothwell went close twice before Natalie Durkin's effort was stopped by a foot on the line.
A penalty stroke was given and Caroline Coates gave Alex Mountford no chance with the flick as she hit the winner.
In Premier Two, A&C 2XI drew 0-0 at home to Sonning, while South Bucks 2XI beat Phoenix Ranelagh 1-0 away thanks to Natalie Rey's second-half strike on her second team debut.
In Division One, Gerrards Cross moved into second place after a 4-0 defeat of A&C 3XI at home.
There are no matches this week because of half term.
