JUST how exciting is it to watch Wycombe at the moment? It is the most entertaining football we have played in years, and it is working.

Our run of 15 games unbeaten is a club record in the Football League and we have returned to top spot. It is a great time for everyone connected with the football club.

Nathan Tyson will be a loss to the club, and he seems certain to leave in January. After the furore of his discussions with Sheffield Wednesday this week, it will be nice to see him find the net again. Tyson, as yet, has not scored in October.

Other players, such as Mike Williamson last week at Lincoln, have found the net, which is very encouraging. The returns of Charlie Griffin and Mark Philo are also plusses. I think Griffin could be a replacement for Tyson. He certainly seems like the kind of player who can worry League Two defences, particularly in the air.

I was delighted to hear about Wrexham's victory in the courts last week over Alex Hamilton. Hamilton, a property developer and outgoing owner of Wrexham, transferred the freehold to the Racecourse Ground to one of his other businesses.

The courts ruled last week that the freehold should be handed back to Wrexham's administrators. This effectively secures the future of Wrexham, following a traumatic time for the Welsh side.

They had been ordered to leave the Racecourse Ground, faced a winding up order before going into administration with 10 points deducted. But they survived, with the help of their fans.

Thankfully such a situation looks unlikely in the short term at Wycombe. The club's board, led by Steve Hayes, have created such a positive impact around Adams Park recently and have been remarkably open. But we cannot become complacent.

With the Wrexham example in mind, I feel uneasy about talk of a move to a new ground. The news of this came completely out of the blue. The Supporters and Founders Trusts have been assured that nothing concrete has even been considered, let alone agreed. But we are monitoring these developments on behalf of members.

As supporters we have a voice. With two fans directors on the board, we have an impact. We would urge all non-members to consider joining the Trusts, to help safeguard the club's future.
