DISABILITY charity WheelPower is inviting Star readers to join them on a once in a lifetime trek to the top of the world.
The 17-day adventure to the base camp of Mount Everest will take trekkers through some extraordinary and breathtaking panoramic scenery.
Trekkers will be led by an experienced Sherpa guide.
They will also get a chance to experience the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people, their villages and monasteries.
Jo Hall, trek organiser, said: "The memories of this awe-inspiring challenge will stay with you for the rest of your life."
She added: "Participating in sport can totally transform the lives of disabled people.
"By focusing on something they can do, and potentially can excel in, increased confidence and a positive outlook can be achieved and this can influence other areas of their lives".
WheelPower is the national charity for wheelchair sport in the UK and aims to provide, promote and develop opportunities for disabled children and adults to participate in sport.
Those wishing to take part need to raise the minimum sponsorship of £2,500, in addition to a £275 registration fee.
