A WOMAN who did a skydive told her family she was going to a keep fit class to stop them worrying.
Her family were surprised to find out Marj Wilson jumped with 14 other people at Weston on the Green to raise money for PACE.
The group called the Hughenden Lodge Novice Skydive Team has raised £11,000 with a further £3,000 from the Hughenden’s Master’s Charity for the year.
Director and Founder of PACE Heather Last said, “As someone who has always been scared of heights I admire people who go that extra mile, in this case two and a half miles and jump out of a plane to support the PACE Charity.”
PACE is based in Aylesbury and it transforms the lives of children aged six months and above, with physical disabilities, such as cerebral palsy.
