I’VE no idea how she convinced me to do it, but High Wycombe mayor Jane White has arranged for me to be put in the stocks at the Totteridge Community Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30.
Jane, as readers will recall, was miffed about something in this column and set this up as a punishment.
I thought she was joking, but it all now appears to have been arranged.
