TWO suspects have been charged with murdering a 40-year-old woman in Aylesbury on Saturday night.
The woman died at her home in Wendover Road.
Twenty-one-year-old Usman Shahzad, of Havelock Street, Aylesbury, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with murder.
The suspects are due to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court today for a remand hearing.
Police were called about 6.40pm Saturday and the victim was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with serious injuries but died shortly after 8pm.
A post mortem held at the hospital on Sunday found the cause of death was injuries to the woman’s head and arms.
A second post mortem has not yet been scheduled.
Formal identification of the murder victim is due to take place late this afternoon.
