'Half of readers using cars less due to petrol price rise'
ABOUT half of readers are using their cars less because of rising petrol prices, a poll suggests.
With the hike in fuel costs, partly due to VAT going up this month, motorists have asked the Government to stop prices at the pump sky-rocketing any further.
In a web poll this week we asked: Are you using your car less because of rising petrol prices?
51 per cent (278 votes) said yes, slightly more than those who said no, 49 per cent (270 votes).
