A PENSIONER has said she is fed up of seeing takeaway cartons and cigarette ends littering Place Farm Way in Monks Risborough.
Nina Lambourne, 71, of Littleham Lane said the rubbish surrounding the parade of shops makes the area look shabby.
She said: “It was a very pretty parade of shops. Most people on this estate would remember it very well. Now there are food outlets it all looks so shoddy and shabby.
“It is just not pleasant.”
Mrs Lambourne said it was a “blot on our landscape” and wants things to change. She said she had spoken to Princes Risborough Town Councillor and chairman of Wycombe District Council Bill Bendyshe-Brown.
He said: “They are all privately owned down there. It is all private landlords.
“Every now and again when it gets bad the environment department get involved.”
Cllr Bendyshe-Brown said it is not the shops but the people who use the services.
