THE Prime Minister will soon receive a visit from a group of pupils from Frieth inviting him to their very own circus performance.
The 25 pupils from Frieth School are waiting to confirm their trip to Downing Street where they will invite David Cameron to their fundraising event- the Cirque Normandie.
Organisers said they are championing the Big Society by finding innovative and ambitious ways to raise money for the school.
From Thursday, June 7 professional circus company- Cirque Normandie- will be creating a unique teaching experience for every year group.
The circus will be taught right across the curriculum from maths to history and pupils will be coached in circus performance skills.
On Saturday, June 11 there will be two professional public performances of the Circus at 11am and 3pm.
Hambleden Valley’s Vicar, Reverend Wigram said: “Not many small villages these days can say they have a school, a church, a village hall, two pubs and a circus! This is a fantastic opportunity for us to support the ‘Big Society’ regardless of political persuasion." The Big Top will be available to hire on June 7 or 8.
