MOTORISTS can have their car number plates fitted with tamper proof screws tomorrow following a rise in number plate thefts.
Thames Valley Police are working in conjunction Halfords Autocentres to offer the service between 10am and 2pm at Tesco on London Road, Loudwater.
Stolen number plates are often used to commit other crimes including speeding, petrol theft and driving stolen vehicles.
The service will again be offered at Morrisons on Bellfield Road, High Wycombe next Wednesday.
