ROBBERS stole pizzas and drinks after they hit a Domino's delivery driver in the back.

At about 10.20pm on Sunday a 29-year-old pizza delivery driver went to Hilary Road, and parked near the address which ordered the food.

When he got out of his car he saw three men stood in front of the house and asked them if they had ordered pizza.

They said they had and when the driver asked for payment one of the men started patting his pockets as if he was looking for money.

One of the men then grabbed him from behind and struck him in the back.

The suspects then took the pizzas and drinks from the Domino's car and ran off.

The victim sustained bruising to his back and sought treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The first man who patted his pockets is 20 to 25 years old, with short dark hair, and was wearing a white T-shirt with sand coloured jeans. The second man, who assaulted the victim, is black, about 6ft, with black curly hair, and was wearing black jeans, a black hooded top, and goal-keepers gloves. The third man was Asian; there is no further description of him.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery, saw the three men hanging around the road prior to it, or who recognises the description of the offenders, should contact Natasha Burns on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
