A PUB in Stokenchurch has been one of the latest pubs hit in a spate of break-ins across the district.
Burglars broke into the Fleur De Lis in Oxford Road at about 2.30am on Tuesday, July 10.
Tenants Nick Nuthall and Andy Wimbush were woken up as they live on-site as the burglars broke through two doors at the front of the pub.
Nick said: "We had literally gone to bed and switched all the lights off and within a few minutes there was a horrendous crash.
"We ran downstairs and we disturbed them and they had gone."
She said it is hard work to find replacements for the doors, as it is an older building.
Nick said: "It is the inconvenience. It is costing people money that they haven't got."
The pub has insurance but she said this will take time to process.
Police warned landlords at the end of last month to be vigilant after a series of burglaries across the district.
Police said thieves were targeting fruit machines and urged pub owners, regular punters and residents to keep their eyes open for suspicious activity.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Alice Adderley said police were called at 2.49am on July 10 to the Fleur De Lis and it is possibly linked to other pub break-ins.
