BARRY Norman, the renowned television film critic, entertained 150 movie fans by regaling them with tales of his career last night in Beaconsfield.
The former presenter of BBC One's flagship review show Film was the special guest at the National Film and Television School in Station Road.
The event was part of the Wooburn Festival.
Mr Norman was interviewed by Little Marlow resident and fellow film critic and author Quentin Falk, who has worked for various national newspapers and movie magazines.
Encounters with Marlon Brando, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, were among the subjects Mr Norman spoke about.
Brian Johnson, organiser of the festival, was delighted with his appearance and he was warmly applauded by guests.
