Police helicopter called in M40 search for car believed to have been stolen
A police helicopter was circling above the M40 this afternoon while officers searched for a car that was believed to have been stolen.
NPAS Benson was called to assist Thames Valley Police’s roads policing team at 12.30pm.
A car, believed to have been stolen, was spotted after being caught on cameras near Gerrards Cross.
Police said they are not releasing the details of the car so as not to alert the driver.
The car, which was travelling northbound, was not able to be traced.
