A thief snatched letters from a postman's hands before running off with it in Bourne End last week.
The offender, described as black, around 5ft 10ins and in his mid-twenties, approached the postman from behind and grabbed three or four letters before running away.
He had very short hair and stubble and was wearing light grey shorts and a light grey long sleeved sweatshirt, with a big red number on the back.
Anyone with information that could help the police with their investigation is asked to call PCSO Charlene Rowbotham from Marlow police station on 101.
