Five men have been charged with conspiring to steal from up to 130 cars - including some in south Bucks - across the three police force areas.
They were all charged by police on Tuesday and are due to appear before magistrates next month.
The men are all from West Drayton and are alleged to have carried out thefts from motor vehicles in Slough, south Bucks, Hertfordshire and west London between July and December last year.
They are Edward and Michael Mongan, both aged 38, and 65-year-old Michael Mongan, all of Cricketfield Road, and 20-year-old John Ward and 18-year-old Michael Ward, both of Blunts Avenue.
All five men have been released on police bail and are due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 2.
