A man who was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and sexual assault following four incidents on The Rye has been bailed.

Thames Valley Police arrested the 35-year-old from Flackwell Heath on Wednesday following reports of a series of incidents in High Wycombe during the last week.

In just six days, four women were victims of separate sex attacks on The Rye – on each occasion a man indecently exposed himself to them and attempted to “grab” two of them.

Following an investigation two men were arrested.

A 31-year-old from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and sexual assault in relation to three incidents, and was bailed until August 10.

The second man, arrested in connection with three incidents, has also now been released on bail until July 30.

Investigating officer, Det Con Louise Knowles from Force CID in High Wycombe said: “The incidents have understandably caused some distress to the local community.

“If anyone has any information about these incidents and has not yet spoken to police, please contact 101 as soon as possible.

“I would also ask that if anyone has images of the suspected offenders or of the incidents taking place, that they do not share these with other members of the public or on social media, as this could potentially jeopardise the investigation.

“Instead please contact officers via 101 and share the images with the investigation team.”
