A man charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident near a church in High Wycombe will appear at crown court.
Ionut Buterez, 31, of Suffield Road, High Wycombe, was charged on April 4 in relation to an incident that happened at around 3.40am on March 27, where an 18-year-old woman was walking near Trinity Church, off London Road, when she was confronted by a man who sexually assaulted her.
After appearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 5, the case was sent to Aylesbury Crown Court, where he will appear on May 5.
He has been remanded in custody until the court date.
