THIS is not the first lorry accident at the junction of Crendon Street and Easton Street and it is becoming obvious something is horribly wrong.
We do not want to pre-empt the outcome of lengthy police investigations by jumping to conclusions about what happened but whatever the cause, it is highly likely the road played a part.
Amersham Hill and Crendon Street are on a steep hill and surely the question of whether lorries and trucks should be using these roads, close to the centre of High Wycombe, must be asked.
Everyone has their theory about what may have happened and what measures could be taken to make the road safer.
If there is any way to make the road safer and prevent another tragedy on this scale, then it must be done.
