A GIANT TV screen will show the Olympic Games 100m final on the Rye in High Wycombe.

Stars such as Usain Bolt, dubbed the world's fastest man, will be shown in action on a temporary 80ft screen which will be put up in the High Wycombe park for one day only.

And less than a week later the screen will be moving on to King George V fields in Amersham, where it will be showing the penultimate day's action from the Games.

Four sites - one in each district area of Bucks - will have the big screen at various points during the Olympics.

It will be in Burnham Park on Saturday August 4 before being transferred across to the Rye the following day, where it will form part of the Wycombe Community Festival event organised by Wycombe District Council and community group SV2G.

Then on Saturday August 11 the screen will be put up in Amersham, where as many as 4,000 people could attend, before making its way to Vale Park in Aylesbury for the Paralympics on September 1.
