Children in fancy dress will brighten up the streets of Beaconsfield tomorrow (Friday) as they take part in a 5k run through the town.
The annual fun run will see children from The Beaconsfield School and Alfriston School take part in a race across the Hall Barn Estate while wearing a variety of costumes.
The event will be started at 1.15pm at Beaconsfield rugby club, in Hedgerley Lane, by town crier Dick Smith with Mayor of Beaconsfield, Steve Jones, handing out awards as the youngsters return.
Organisers say two unnamed footballers from Wycombe Wanderers will also be involved in the race this year.
