FOUR people charged in connection with the death of High Wycombe man Sean Cleathero appeared before court yesterday.

The four appeared at Reading Crown Court on Monday and are next due before the court on January 20. They are:

Peter Purkins, 46, of Heather Walk, Hazlemere, charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug (anabolic steroids) and conspiracy to supply a class C drug.

Jamie Chivers, 43, of Spring Gardens Road, High Wycombe, charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug, conspiracy to supply a class C drug and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Jason King, 41, of Hazell Road, Prestwood, Great Missenden, charged with manslaughter, conspiracy to produce a class C drug and conspiracy to supply a class C drug.

Laura Hague, 22, of Orchard Grove, Chalfont St Peter, charged with conspiracy to produce a class C drug, conspiracy to supply a class C drug and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Mr Cleathero, 28, died in Wycombe Hospital on October 17, 2012 after taking a substance called 2, 4-Dinitrophenol (DNP).
